Got what I paid for, (What's this?) Wears down quickly even with proper handling and care. If only using once in a blue moon this cookware would be perfect but for every day use it falls short and really would be best used for camping cookware as oposed to daily cookware. I've learned to be more selective with my purchases.
Nothing but junk, (What's this?) The quality is incredibly poor. I purchased this set of pots and pans for a cottage. I just opened them two days ago and one of the handles is broken. I am definately sending them back.

Loving these pots!, (What's this?) So far everything is great, I've been using them several months now. Am being extremely careful of the finishes, how I store them, what I used in them/on them. I do wish the large saute pan was a tad bit larger like in my other set. Easy to clean too. I thought the price was great for the set.
Great pans, (What's this?) we purchased the pans for my moms birthday. She loved them so much. The order was sent out immediately and same in just in time for us.
I'm happy, We've been using at least one pot in the set twice a day for two years. It still looks almost new. There is no sign of the non-stick coating chipping off. I expected some sign of wear after two years. The outside of the pots looks good without any care other than washing. We stack pots, against instructions, but carefully. We hand-wash and use plastic utensils. They are easy to wash. Some reviewers said cooking spray is a no-no. I didn't know that; we use it all the time. Another said don't put them in a stainless steel sink. We do that all the time.

It cooks well, is durable, looks and feels like quality. You can't expect more from popular priced cookware. Granted, it doesn't look as great as professional, but it doesn't cost three times as much.

Great Nonstick Set!, We have been using this set for over a year now and have no complaints. The non-stick is great, even if you burn eggs, rice, or whatever, it comes off SUPER EASY! I hate washing dishes, but these are so easy that it isn't that big of a deal at all.

I would HIGHLY recommend this set.
Love Calphalon, I was originally introduced to Calphalon cookware through my mother. She replaced all of her cookware with Calphalon more than 20 years, and it was wonderful to cook with!

When I married last year, we received this starter set as a wedding gift and I love it. Yes, it does take a little getting used to. These must be handwashed (my mother placed one of her pots in the dishwasher a few times - it wasn't pleasant!), no metal utensils, no cooking spray (but one doesn't need that when cooking with these), no stacking. Treating these pots and pans well means you will get to enjoy them for years to come. One does need to adjust their cooking methods slightly, such as cooking on a lower temperature, but it's easy to adjust to.

I know some folks might not like the idea of handwashing pots and pans, but since I have to handwash my knives it's not really a bother to do the pots and pans at the same time.

As far as stacking is concerned, there is a way to stack these pans - at least the fry pans without chipping or scratching. Simply take a paper plate and place it between the pans. This will prevent the pans from scraping against each other.
Have used for 1 month and am very happy with purchase, (What's this?) We have had this for 1 month. They work great - heat quickly, definitely don't stick and are easy to clean.
Beware of the Basement Price Dealer, (What's this?) The product is amazing - Calphalon makes incredible cookware. I have only great things to say about the even cooking surface and the solid construction, the easy clean-up and attractive appearance. Beware however of basement price dealers of cookware. A google search and cost comparison will lead you to a list topped by Grantfords, advertising the absolutely lowest price on a NEW product with FREE SHIPPING. My experience was this: Once I followed the link to make a purchase on the retailer's website, I was taken to the amazon.com site to complete the purchase where I was charged $14 for shipping. The cost was still the lowest I could find so I proceeded. The product shipped to me was a scratch and dent set that had been returned to Macy's and most likely re-purchased by Grantfords. While I love getting a bargain, I love even more knowing the truth about what I'm purchasing. I'd expect an even deeper discount for this product based on a 'previously opened box' or 'like new' condition, especially for cookware.

High Quality Stainless Kitchenware,  Besides this being product effective (non-stick) and safe (no Teflon), it's also beautiful and reasonably listed. I'm Happy with this particular purchase. nice,  I am no Betty Crocker, however i finally possess a decent group of pans. First factor I have observed may be the stove temp configurations. With one of these pans I am using lower configurations to offer the same leads to the same time frame frames. They cleanup easier than I'd expected too. They appear and work great.

still very satisfied, I bought these four years ago from amazon . com. I have never been not happy together. Among the primary reasons I selected this set was due to how much they weigh. I'm a small lady and that i tend not to (sometimes can't) lift super duper heavy kitchenware. For instance, I've several Le Creuset pans and while they're fabulous kitchenware (seriously, I am not knocking them whatsoever, I really hope to prepare my last meal during my le creuset nederlander/*ahem French oven) they're absurdly heavy. So that's point one in their favor - they're lightweight. They're also sturdy. I have cooked everything imaginable during these things plus they look wonderful. To folks who say everything stays or burns, look I tend not to function as the bearer of not so good news, but that's because you do not know how you can prepare in stainless kitchenware. You will find some excellent videos online that explain in fabulous detail just how to prepare in these kinds of pans. I recommend, if you're a new comer to stainless, you try them out. I prepare various things all right, nothing stays or burns. Around the rare occasion that something does burn to the bottom (forget and then leave the burners on, it will happen all of us) a soak within the sink along with a little Bar Keeper's Friend will require proper care of it. I stick them within the dishwasher and also the only factor I make certain of is the fact that I don't make use of the citrus dishwasher detergent because the product information stated to not. I have didn't have breaking, pitting, discoloration.. nothing. I personally use the three quart soup pot to create popcorn constantly which requires dragging the pan over the burners frequently as well as the foot of that pan looks fine. I believe the three 1/2 quart saute pan may be the real stick out of the set - I personally use it constantly. It is the perfect size for a number of one pot foods. I rarely make use of the large stockpot since it is large and when I want a sizable pot I've a different one I favor. A more compact stock pot will be a nice accessory for this set. Overall, this can be a great set. It really is an incredible value, this really is my daily kitchenware, and I am unable to anticipate myself ever requiring to replace it all.

The following morning, with some hard work, it came shiny clean again, did not ruin the conclusion whatsoever. I'm amazed!! This kitchenware is clearly indestructable!! BTW, the brand new one which I purchased came the very next day and I am keeping it eventually he'll have the ability to destroy/burn/dent/lose/discard one of these.....
nice light,  Got a great cost around the ten piece set lately - however i was not aware from the eleven piece set, that we believe includes the very important steamer basket... so just a little mad at myself because of not being more aware. Not really an indication of magnetic attraction, so not good for passing cooking. Handles feel great and that i such as the lightweight. Get what you pay for, I bought a set of this cookware because of the reviews plus I LOVE cooking! Well was I ever disappointed with how easily it stains and sticks and was nothing like the West Bend, Kitchen Craft or Amway waterless. I used low gas heat and did everything as instructed but with pretty crappy results. My opinion is I wasted a couple of hundred dollars. Bottom line is you REALLY get what you pay for. If it's cheap price, there's a reason. If it's made in the US, it's usually WAY better than the overseas junk. I'm currently looking for a used set of Amway, WB or KC.
very nice, (What's this?) Purchased 2 sets for gifts. I did check out one box and they seem to be very nice for the sale price, not the listed original price. The the kettles have a thick base and still a good comfortable weight for average cook, maybe to heavy for weak wrists. I like that all the kettles don't have long handles, that helps with compact storage, inside measurements looks helpful, don't like the thermo lids look, may be useful, not much information about the cookware, haven't seen the name Chef Secret stamped anywhere.
Worst handles and knobs ever!!, (What's this?) I have owned this set for less than a year, and would describe myself as an occasional cook. So far, the knobs have broken on two of the lids, which renders the item useless. In addition, the handles are unbelievably flimsy.

That is unfortunate, especially since the actual pots and pans are of good quality. I love that the bases are so heavy! Wonderful to cook in, for as long as they work.

Will replace these with other stainless cookware, unless I can locate replacement lids.

I purchased this set for my sister and brother in law for Christmas. Of course I had to check them out before I wrapped the present. All I can say, is holy crap, what an amazing set of cookware for the price.

Chef's Secret 22 pc Element Super Set, (What's this?) Love it Love it Love it! I was invited to a saladmaster party and could not believe they wanted a minimum of $1,000+ for a "starter set" of pots! Well, enjoyed the meal and knowing it was so healthy, I thought there's got to be a cheaper set.
Flimsy and unwieldy. Don't buy this product., (What's this?) I don't recommend buying this product.

The bottom is a nice solid 12 element alloy. However the sides of every pan are very very flimsy.

Further this set has a bunch of cookware of very strange sizes. A lot of the pans were either too small to use on my range's front burners, or too tall to fit on my rear burners.

Thankfully it arrived dented, and I could return it without paying shipping.

They are very heavy gauge stainless, beautiful and easy to clean. Stainless steel cleaner works like magic for harder stains. I would recommend them for the price to any one.

Pleasure to cook with, (What's this?) I have only had them a few weeks, so I cannot vouch for durability. First impressions are they are great to cook with, heat very evenly and food does not stick.
Worst Pans, Waste of Money, (What's this?) I ordered these pans in October of 2010. They worked well for about three months, then their non-stick coating stopped being non-stick. We hand washed these pans with regular dish soap, but the coating deteriorated. Don't order these pans -- they're a waste of money.
Love My New Cookware, (What's this?) So far my cookware is great. I got the 10 pc set. Now I wish I would have got the 12 pc. No more ingesting PTFE and PFOA. Easy clean up. I now am able to make my husband over easy eggs with out breaking the yolks and I don't need to spray the the pan with any oil.

Best cookware ever, There are no negatives for this product line. Nothing sticks to these pots and pans and it is so incredibly easy to wash off foods that may look stuck. Innova Leyse 10-Piece Stainless-Steel Cookware Set

Great Starter Set, I bought this set when just setting out on my own over 10 years ago. I still use the same set everyday for cooking with no problems. This set has been great and I would recommend it.
Innova out of business, I bought a Leyse Professional 10-piece stainless steel cookware set in 2003. The 50-year warranty was one attraction. Now the bottom of the dutch oven has developed a bulge and the pot is unusable. I spent a long time searching the web for Innova Inc. to get warranty service. The web addresses I found for Innova Inc. in various business directories were wrong. The phone numbers also did not work. You will also find reports from the Consumer Product Safety Commission with complaints about Innova's exploding frying pans. I finally found a Better Business Bureau report saying that Innova Inc. is out of business. Do not buy this product.
I really like my Leyse, I agree with reviewer, Kay Doggett, and I enjoy my 2003 purchase of Leyse covered 1qt & 3qt saucepans from a well respected local store known for consumer-friendly prices. I purchased what I needed at the time but had the local merchant offered this Leyse set for anywhere near Amazon's price I would have snapped it up.

The handles never get hot on the range top and the saucepans (in fact all the pieces of this line) can be placed in the oven. It is all metal -- there is nothing to burn.

I use Bar Keepers Friend stainless steel cleansing/polishing powder on them, after regular washing, to remove the discolorations stainless steel does get, and they still look great!

If someone needed an entire set of serviceable, good looking, use every day of the week cookware this would be the set to get. Mine were made in China and if I suddenly had to replace all my stainless cookware I would purchase this set in preference to my current Resto/Cuisinart/Leyse mix.
Pot Bottoms Falling off, After only 6 years, the bottoms are separating from the pots. With a 50 year warranty, you would think that these pots should be durable and long lasting.
The manufacturer, Innova, do not reply to emails and their customer service is extremely poor.
Do not waste your money, find another manufacturer instead.
Absolutely the Best, I have had this cookware set for years and they are the best! I highly recommend it. It is heavy, cooks evenly and cleans up great. Visitors who come to my home always comment on how nice it looks and think I spent a fortune.

Great "Waterless" Cooking Set, (What's this?) These pots and pans are excellent quality and weight. They are better than the photo. They are beautiful. Please note, however, that it is not mentioned, but these are are "waterless" cookware and compare to the famous "Salad Master" cooking sets that are sold in home demos for $3000.

Great pans, (What's this?) This is my second set of these pans. Nothing wrong with the first set, I just hijacked the first set from my wife to do stuff like making maple candy and such. Very even cooking and easy to clean. My first set has stainless covers and the new set has glass covers with a small breathing hole, nice upgrade.

Gourmet Chef 12 Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set

Frying pan handle cracked within the first month..., (What's this?) I purchased this product and a month later, the frying pan handle began to crack. The heaviest food I ever put in the pan was a third pound of beef. Seems like this product is made with very cheap material. Upon contacting Le Gourmet Chef (the company that creates the cookware) I was told this: "Hello! You have purchased discontinued stock that was sold to a wholesale company. You will need to contact the company you purchased it from as Le Gourmet Chef has no liability on items purchased from Amazon."

Do not buy this product. It is cheap, but not worth the headache.
Terrible set, (What's this?) I ordered this set with my gift card, and you talk about disappointment. This set is terrible. I wish I had of save up more money on my gift card and brought a Paula Dean or Rachael Ray set instead. Food sticks to the pans even when sprayed, the handles are never tight; you have to screw them up all the time.
Gourmet Chef 12 Piece Stainless Steel Cookware with Bakelite Handles, (What's this?) This item is a disappointment. It only looks good but it does not do what I expected. It came with three (3) of the handles missing and 1 falling off. It keeps burning things and I cannot use it to cook. I am now only boiling water it it most of the times.

Gave as gift, box not great, (What's this?) I gave this item as a gift and it made a great one because of it's price. I will say though the box it came in was not in that great of shape. Other than that it would have gotten 5 stars.
Great set, These pots and pans came in perfect shape and were beautiful. They hold up to any temperature very well. I highly recommend this set.
Gift for Mom, Gift for Mom. She is 75 years of age and said she likes the fact that the cookware is rather lightweight and easy to handle. Said she could not tell if the handles are real wood or synthetic. She has very good eye sight and if she cannot tell then that is good enough for me.

I have heard no complaints from Mom but it is a gift so I doubt she would say anything. All-in-all I believe this to be a good quality product that is lightweight, easy to handle for older individuals, and certainly meets expectations.
Poor Quality, (What's this?) I guess you get what you pay for. If your looking for a deal, you'd be better off buying piece by piece at your local discount store. The pots dent & handles break easy. They are very thin.
Well...., (What's this?) The handles were already coming off and twisted around when the pots arrived. I will guess that the handles on the other pots will break quickly also. The stainless is so lightweight that it is flimsy and one of the pots had a big dent in it on arrival. I'm going to try for something with a little heavier gauge stainless. I did like the shiny pots and the blue glass lids are pretty too. It's too bad the metal isn't a little tougher and the handles aren't sturdier.

All-Clad Copper Core 14-Piece Set

Finest cookware anywhere at any price, We are modestly proficient home chefs, willing to try cooking anything in the kitchen and usually with success. We long ago realized that one of the most valuable assets to the home chef was good equipment and early in our marriage, perhaps now at least 30 or so years ago we purchased All-Clad Ltd cookware and have used it for everything we have ever cooked at home or even on our boat. It has never failed us, although we have occasionally failed it and burned a thing or two. Despite a blackened pot or pan, they have never failed to come clean and after all these years they are now being passed to our children with enthusiasm, looking almost as good as new with hardly a scratch. Never washed in the dishwasher they remain in pristine condition, beautifully black on the outside, clean, shiny without scratches on the inside.

Now the legend continues, since our newest upgrade in the kitchen is induction cooking (gas and electric have all been tried)and the Ltd is not up to this new technology. We have purchased the induction compatible copper core cookware, again by our favorite manufacturer, All-Clad and they are not only works of art, the art carries on to the food and the joy to the cook. This cookware carries the long tradition of these exceptional American craftsmen and women. They are the prettiest ones in the kitchen (save the executive chef.
Superb cookware, (What's this?) These are, I in my most humble opinion, the finest pots you can buy. They're solid, beautiful (if you're into pots) and well designed. If cooking is your passion, you can do no better. The internal copper core does an outstanding job of spreading the heat evenly and the interior and exterior stainless steel cleans up easily. The pots are even dishwasher safe although you may need to use copper polish to restore the bright finish of the exposed copper band if you do use the dishwasher.

Please note, the pots won't do the cooking for you so if you have no idea what you are doing in the kitchen, you can still burn dinner or turn out a lousy meal...but at least you will have done it evenly and in style! On the other hand, because they cook so well, they could make learning to cook or expanding your cooking horizons a joy.

A couple final notes. 1) The pots are heavy. All-Clad definitely did not skimp on the materials. Fortunately, for the heaviest pots, they have a secondary handle on the lip of the pot to help you lift. 2) They are expensive. I looked everywhere and could not find All-Clad discounted. Even retailers that carry the line are careful to exclude All-Clad when they have their big sales. That said, Amazon's price is as good as any, and with Amazon Prime, the pots were delivered to my door the day after I ordered them (all 54 pounds in one box) for only $3.99. 3) These are heirloom pots. I had a hard time reconciling paying so much for the set until I realized that we'll own these pots for the rest of our lives and that when we're gone, our children will continue to enjoy them.
All Clad makes USA mfg. proud, We have owned this set for about 4 years now and our set looks almost brand new and copper layer sure shines up purty. Firstly, if you buy All Clad get Barkeepers Friend(BF) the same day, you can thank me the first time you clean your cookware. BF makes cleanup a snap and is not too abrasive(note: you shouldn't use abrasives like ajax or scotchbrite pads on AllClad) keeps pots and pans looking new and more importantly keeps the inside cooking surface clean and smooth so that sticking is less of an issue, this point is critical for any low fat conscious chefs(I use a ton of fat when I cook so no problems for me :O). This isn't a review of BF so back to the cookware! Your second purchase if you don't have them already is Bamboo or wooden utensils, never use metal on your pans. You can get away with it if you are gentle but scratching the inside of the cookware will cause food to stick, especially if you are cooking with little fat. The pots and pans cook very evenly and are very responsive to temperature changes at the burner which is very nice when you are cooking something that is temperature sensitive or delicate. I don't recommend them for "blackened" dishes, cooking with hot oil, or searing for the same reason. They are difficult to clean after cooking say... blackened halibut. I am not a fan of non-stick cookware after I found out the off-gassing above 400 degrees would kill our parrot(how can that be harmless to us?), for all the high temperature cooking that my All Clad isn't great with, falls to good ole enameled cast iron. Another nice thing about All Clad is that the long handles stay cool, however the secondary smaller handle/s can get quite hot so you'll need to use a mitt for those. The lids fit well and make a nice seal, they will allow steam to pass but not too much. I wish All Clad would include glass or at least see through lids with stainless steel ring on the outside so you could see through it but still have the nice fit, I would also like a composite handle on the lid that doesn't get too hot, but for whatever reason this has been an oversight on their part. The construction is excellent, no issues in 4 years of serious cooking and finish is also very well done, it makes you a little nervous to clean the pots and pans the first few times they are so pretty. However, stick with a sponge/mild scrubber and BF and you will keep them looking new for a long time.
All Clad Copper, (What's this?) Purchased after reviewing and seeing other Products from China....These stood out for our new kitchen...They are Heavy...but cook very even on our new induction range...only have had them for two weeks Christmas is over....but made the holiday event ....

FABULOUS!!, (What's this?) Who would have thought that pots and pans would make such a difference! These pots/pans are fantastic - they heat so fast and evenly. I have had NO issues with food sticking to the surface and they have been very easy to clean.
