Great set for the price, (What's this?) I got this set after researching so many on the internet. I knew I wanted stainless steal and they can become very pricey. I also love Cuisnart but really did not thing there would be a set affordable and my husband found this one for us. I did not need the 10 or 14 piece set (although they are available at a decent price as well.) They heat up very fast and I'm still figuring out just how to cook on them (I've burnt a few things.)Also, if you're getting them to look 'pretty', that will not happen. They retain water spots and the inside never gets completly clean. Also if you have a gas stovetop they will get marks on the bottom. You could use some cleaner to make them shine again but that's too much work if you are using them everyday. My other concern was the weight of the stainless steal and it seems to be fine. The larger pot is a little heavy when full and trying to drain it. They have a nice rim for pouring that helps and they stack nice in my cabinet. Overall, a great product. I rarely give anything a 5 star b/c there never seems to be that perfect product. But, I would suggest this set to anyone who cook on a daily basis and you'll get what you're looking for.
Nearly Perfect., (What's this?) This nearly perfect cookware set is worth the investment. I use them nearly dail for cooking most any meal! A few spots have black specs as I noticed mentioned in other reviews, but it hasn't impeded the performance of these pots one bit! The construction is solid! I prefer plastic-free and non-stick coating free cookware.
High-Quality, Easy to Clean Cookware Set, (What's this?) Purchased at a great price on Amazon. I am very pleased with the quality and performance of all of these pieces, and enjoy having easy to clean, dishwasher safe pots and pans (these replaced a Calphalon set). If you have trouble keeping yours clean, try soaking in hot water with a little liquid dishwasher detergent, or scrub with Bon Ami or Barkeepers Friend powdered cleaner.
Falsely advertized, (What's this?) When I received this Cuisinart 77-7 cookware I notice that the term 18/10 stainless was not imprinted any where on either the product or the accompanying enclosures. I called Cuisinart twice and talked to Richard and Tiaira and both of them said if the pot or pan is not stamped 18/10 stainless it is not made of 18/10 stainless. An Amazon customer service agent referred me to Susanne the Amazon customer service Supervisor; she said that since I ordered the pans from a third party, I would have to go through the third party to get my money back.
cookware purchase, (What's this?) great set of pots and pans that can go from stovetop to the oven and then the dishwasher. bought these for a second home because i have a set that were purchased for a gift for me 30 years ago and still look new.
Not good, (What's this?) Not good, pitted and not even cooking. Bought the tramantina all clad from walmart...great stuff. Will not purchase the chef's classic brand again.
Very pleased, (What's this?) Arrived as described in protective yet minimal packaging. The pieces work well - providing even heating across the bottom and all the benefits of the material. I couldn't be happier with the value for the price.
Works like it should, (What's this?) My set arrived all shiny and well packaged, very pleased with it. Have been using it for two weeks now, so far it does what it should, nothing is sticking but I've been (too) careful about using high heat based on the other reviews, and always used some oil. The interior base will stain but it's a cook set, it should look used. Sturdy and well constructed, good set for a small family. We bought a non stick separately for when we need it. It's all good.
strange stain after second use, (What's this?) After I used the sauté pan twice, I noticed some blue circle stains in it.
USELESS WITH INDUCTION HEAT, (What's this?) This set is beautiful and substantial. I bought it for my induction burner, which requires stainless steel pots. The manufacturer states that these are stainless steel. However, it turns out they y are not the grade of material required for induction heat, which requires stainless steel that attracts a magnet. I rated them 1 star because I believe their limitation should have been noted for naive non-chefs such as myself.
